Professor Carlos Gallegos, 6th Dan |
Professor Carlos Gallegos has been teaching martial arts in Orange County since the 1960s. Apart from his years of experience, he is also Uncle David Nu'uhiwa's senior student. Carlos has a wealth of knowledge in both Jujitsu and Karate, his rank of 6th degree black belt is recognized by Shoshin Ryu Yudanshakai, the American Jujitsu Institute, and Kaito Gakko, Hawaii,
Carlos teaches the Intermediate class at SCE on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-9pm and a beginning class at Rio Hondo Community College on Mondays and Wedesdays from 7:00-9:30pm. |

Sensei Ramon Gallegos, 4th Dan |

Ramon began studying the martial arts when he was 9 years old. First under Uncle David Nu'uhiwa, and later under the tutelage of his father Carlos. Ramon spent over 9 years as an assistant instructor and has been teaching his own Jujitsu and Judo class since 2005.
Ramon's superior talent and patient instruction give his students an advantage in learning the techniques and principles of Judo and Jujitsu.
Ramon teaches the Beginner class at SCE on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:30-8:30pm.

Lee is an excellent martial artist and U.S. armed services veteran whose patience, experience and dedication make him a top instructor.
Lee teaches a kids class on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:30-6:30pm.

Sensei Leo Lopez, 2nd Dan |

A
superb natural athlete, Leo Lopez combines his knowledge of
physical fitness along with martial arts to help his students
reach their full potential. Apart from earning his black belt
from Professor Carlos Gallegos and studing with Uncle David
Nuuhiwa, Leo is well versed in Brazilian Jujitsu (Franco de
Camargo), Western Boxing and tournament fighting.
Leo assists in many classes and coaches grappling, ground fighting and boxing.

Professor Kevin Dalrymple, 7th Dan |
Professor Kevin Dalrymple serves as technical advisor to Kaito Gakko Fullerton. He has been a guest instructor many, many times and he likes to come in and work out with us from time to time.
Prof. Kevin Dalrymple's technical knowledge of jujitsu and the the entire Danzan Ryu Boards is a tremendous asset.
Professor Dalrymple represents Shoshin Ryu Yudanshakai and
is the head of Hi No De Ryu, which meets
at the Orange YMCA (click here

Randy Carrasco’s martial arts studies began at age 12. Randy is proud to be continuing under the mentorship of Professor Carlos Gallegos. Randy’s training included many travels to Hawaii and Asia which provided opportunities to develop and test his skills. His 4th degree black belt rank is recognized by the American Jujitsu Institute and Kaito Gakko, Hawaii .

Hearn is the head of Akita Martial Arts. He is a former member
of SWAT and a retired Police Officer dedicated to teaching
practical self-defense in any situation.
